Shade 02 - £13 (normally £19.50)
I've been desperate to try Dainty Doll foundation since the collection was launched officially in 2010 by Nicola Roberts (it was first produced in 2008 but only in a small batch) but was always a little nervous to do so in case I was disappointed - which I must admit I have been.
As the range is aimed at extremely pale girls I was advised to go for 02 (light) instead of very light which is what I usually purchase from other brands. Truth be told it doesn't really show, but one brush too much and it suddenly appears very orange. The brush itself is awful, I'd read a lot of reviews moaning about it - the powder is designed to come out the top of the attached brush - but only a tiny amount does. It's easy enough to unscrew it and dip the brush in but can be messy and is a tad annoying.
Despite it's faults I do still wear it and feel pretty good doing so. Okay so I won't be repurchasing the mineral powder but I certainly have my eye on their liquid foundation and concealer pen!
I have their liquid foundation and it's great :) It's a bit too sheer for my liking but it's still good!
