OOTD: You're a million miles away

Dress: Market*
Blazer: H&M
Hat: H&M
Shoes: New Look

Unbelievably here in England we're having a bank holiday weekend that's not only dry but actually sunny and warm! Bearing this in mind I decided to go to a family friend's BBQ on Sunday which being the only veggie can be a little awkward however I made up for this when it came to desert!
I based my outfit around my floral sunglasses (which ironically I'm not wearing in the snaps) so went for this gorgeous red dress my boyfriends parents got me for my 17th and baby pink nails. My legs still aren't quite ready to make an appearance so I thought this little blazer I picked up in a H&M sale would really compliment the black tights. The lovers initials bracelet is my favourite part of my outfit and since getting as part of my 18th it's literally never off!
How are you spending your bank holiday weekend and what lovely outfits are you rocking?

OOTD: We fell in love down at the pier

Dress: Primark
Leggings: New Look
Jacket: Vintage Levis
Hat: ASOS
Shoes: New Look *
Sunglasses: Dolly Bow Bow
Bag: Primark *

Of course living near the beach means that as soon as the sun comes out you have to go to a pub and walk by the sea.. even if it is still a little windy! I love early and late summer the best as I get to whip out my ditsy dresses but can still cover my legs and arms. This was also the first real chance I had to try out my beautiful new sunnies which I've been desperate to show off.
Instead of the beach however we just went to a pub for a few fruit ciders and a stroll along the pier to gaze at the boats and what-not. It was also here I had my first non-vegan thing since last June in the form of bublegum ice-cream (sorry cows and my thighs) which was absolutely amazing and am now gutted to find shops don't sell this :(
How are you enjoying the sunshine or do you prefer to wait till the temperature picks up a little as it's still barely reaching 15c in South England?

Lovers Initials

If you recognise the style of bracelet that's because it's from the same shop as Zoe's "yes" but in the design of lovers initials and was an 18th present from my adorable boyfriend.
He ordered it in the colour rose gold and 6.5 inches (they tell you to add 0.5 to your wrist size) and fits like a wrist glove! It did take a month to arrive however so I received it the weekend after my 18th but was so worth the wait.
I've already had lots of compliments over the bracelet and I know it'll be a timeless piece.

Eenie Meenie Cath Kidston Haul

I've never quite got the hype surrounding Cath Kidston, that is until I entered one of their outlets near where I live. Only going in for a glance I ended up leaving with a few bits and plenty more on my wish-list! All the products were purchased with my own money.

This MacBook case is padded (perfect for someone who falls over standing still) and is wipe-clean. It was for this I actually went in and had a hard choice picking a design but went for this ditsy floral print. £20.

I'm not entirely sure what this is for - although it was in the purse section. I actually bought this for a pencil case as I love the hunting design and it fits pens and highlighters perfectly. £4.

This is for both me and my mumma as the colours match our kitchen haha. I don't very often use pencils but the super cute floral with pink erasers was just too much to resist. £2.50.

What do you think of Cath Kidston. To die-for bags or overhyped?

Love Heart Rings

Everyone likes to store things their own way and, as organised as clear plastic may be, I prefer things that add a vintage charm to my room so when my boyfriend bought me sweets I knew the tin deserved a place somewhere. I actually use it to store my rings (sometimes they need shaking for the lid to fit) and think it's just a nice way to keep everything together and tidy.
What do you like to use to store jewellery? Are you more into the Kardashian-esq approach or do you prefer to store trinkets in vintage tins?

Rose Riot Sunglasses

These glasses were originally made as a one off for a Dolly Bow Bow photo-shoot but after popular demand the wonderful Kate had them produced for sale and after seeing a video (below) I knew I needed a pair!
They were £15 plus p&p, are handmade, and arrived 5 days after ordering. I must admit I was a little nervous as they are rather bright and I wasn't sure how'd look but decided to take a chance and am so glad I did! They fit wonderfully and look great. Wore them out shopping and got a lot of stairs and whispers (most of them were nice) and they really are perfect for holidays or festivals. Simply cannot give them enough praise!
What do you think? Would you wear something so bright or do you prefer to leave them for the models?
You can buy them here - but be quick!

Make crosses from your lovers

Double Finger Cross Ring – £1.50
You don’t get much more hip these days than crosses, but I have been wearing them nearly all my life (probably what a hipster would claim). I’ve always loved religious symbolism so when it came into fashion a few years back I really was overjoyed. Rosaries still sometimes get me funny looks but the ring is something I’m often complimented on.
I actually got it for about £2 from a company on eBay (just type double finger cross ring into the search bar) last year and they’re available in a number of styles – mine is “retro silver”.
