Harry Potter Studio Tour

On Monday I went up to my boyfriend's as he said he'd planned a surprise for me on the Tuesday which even my mum wouldn't give a hint about. He actually waited until we were about 15 minutes away before giving me the booking confirmation and as you can imagine I went a little crazy with excitement as Harry Potter takes up more of my life than probably anything else.
I'd always put off going here as I was worried it would ruin the magic but honestly it was more like an interactive museum than anything and you could skip the bits that might ruin it if you wanted. It was great as you got to go round at your own pace and take as many pictures as you wanted and even ride a broom.
The day really was magical and if you've been toying with the idea of going I really recommend it as it's something you'll never forget (although I wouldn't recommend the butterbeer) and make sure you've got spare batteries and have comfy shoes :)

What I'm wearing:
Dress: Primark
Shoes: New Look
Jacket: Primark
Bag: Pavers
Nails: Rimmel Salon Pro in Rhythm & Blues

OOTD: You're a million miles away

Dress: Market*
Blazer: H&M
Hat: H&M
Shoes: New Look

Unbelievably here in England we're having a bank holiday weekend that's not only dry but actually sunny and warm! Bearing this in mind I decided to go to a family friend's BBQ on Sunday which being the only veggie can be a little awkward however I made up for this when it came to desert!
I based my outfit around my floral sunglasses (which ironically I'm not wearing in the snaps) so went for this gorgeous red dress my boyfriends parents got me for my 17th and baby pink nails. My legs still aren't quite ready to make an appearance so I thought this little blazer I picked up in a H&M sale would really compliment the black tights. The lovers initials bracelet is my favourite part of my outfit and since getting as part of my 18th it's literally never off!
How are you spending your bank holiday weekend and what lovely outfits are you rocking?

OOTD: We fell in love down at the pier

Dress: Primark
Leggings: New Look
Jacket: Vintage Levis
Hat: ASOS
Shoes: New Look *
Sunglasses: Dolly Bow Bow
Bag: Primark *

Of course living near the beach means that as soon as the sun comes out you have to go to a pub and walk by the sea.. even if it is still a little windy! I love early and late summer the best as I get to whip out my ditsy dresses but can still cover my legs and arms. This was also the first real chance I had to try out my beautiful new sunnies which I've been desperate to show off.
Instead of the beach however we just went to a pub for a few fruit ciders and a stroll along the pier to gaze at the boats and what-not. It was also here I had my first non-vegan thing since last June in the form of bublegum ice-cream (sorry cows and my thighs) which was absolutely amazing and am now gutted to find shops don't sell this :(
How are you enjoying the sunshine or do you prefer to wait till the temperature picks up a little as it's still barely reaching 15c in South England?

I love you more than the ear in the ski

Happy Mothers Day!
I'm not sure if every country has Mothers Day on the same day but it's today in the UK and, although I think it originated in the US, all the shops get very into it. My mum isn't really into all the smoochy cards with pages of poems so this year I got this create your own from Card Factory (yes I have deliberately drawn like a child, although my best isn't much better) as I thought they were rather fun. I've also got her the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes Collection (14 classic films!) and honestly don't know who's more excited to watch them, as well as a Zombie book (mother loves her zombies). To be honest I can't beat her present from 18 years ago - ME! She's so lucky right? To be in labour on such a special day.
The name of this post is also deliberately spelt wrong - when I was little I drew her a picture and tried to write "I love you more than the air in the sky" but I've never been great with stuff that so it went a little pants up. Since then it's always been our little saying which I think is rather cute - we're lucky it didn't turn out rude!
Whether your country celebrates Mothers Day or not remember to let her know how much she means to you!
