When I bought this Boots had an offer on their Collection range where if you spent £4.99 you got this pen (worth £2.99) for free so this was a great chance to try out my first felt tip liner. I'm a liquid liner lass but after hearing great things I decided that it was time for a change and I am definitely converted.
Once I've used this a few more times I'm sure it'll be super easy to apply but I'm used to something a bit more bendable so the first few applications weren't as neat as I'd have liked. The big bonus here however is the drying speed. As soon as you've finished your flick it's dried and you can apply your mascara without having to wait five minutes in-case it smudges. Now the name "24 hours" may be true it may not (I wear makeup for about 15 hours a day so wouldn't know) but for the period of time it's on it doesn't budge. Wind or rain it's still extreme. Ssying this it does come off with a cleanser so no need to worry about sore eyes each night!
It is availiable in four fantastic shades although I went for boring black as it's a safer option. Have I been 100% converted? Maybe not. Liquid liner will still be there for me when I need something drastic and I'm rather dubious as to how long it'll last - lip pens only go about a month with me. However for £2.99 this is a great purchase and will be my go-to liner over Easter.
Looks like this goes on so easily - wish my eyeliner would stay on for 24 hours or be waterproof!

For me this wouldn't last 24 hours but it's a holy grail product for me.
ReplyDeleteI've been through about three of them, if not more. I use the black one everyday. Oddly I haven't ventured into the other colours yet!
